Andy Klapwyk was born in 1953 and now resides in a small village in rural southwestern Ontario, Canada. His musical skills are self taught, stemming from the fact that his family always had an organ in the house when he was young. As a teenager he naturally moved to the guitar because that was what all teenagers wanted to do at that time. He playes the guitar, bass guitar and drums and began performing in small bands when he turned 16. He married at 20 and gave up the road to make a life for his family. Since then he has been making music at home mostly for his own enjoyment.

He bought his first midi keyboard about 10 years ago and began to write music using a computer. He does not use any pre-formatted music software which means he actually has to play every note, the computer is really only used to modify and edit performances and to store them for later use.

Andy says "The only thing that hampers me really is I can't read a note of music, but playing it just seems to come easy."

For the time being Andy writes for the enjoyment of others and his music is free if you write and ask his permission.

His requirements are simple no pornography and he must okay your site.

This is not hard to accept for the use of his great music.

In the future like all great artists he may get paid for his work.
